FDJ have announced their roster for the Tour de France where they will be focusing on two objectives with two different leaders. Thiabut Pinot will focus on the GC while Arnaud Demare will be chasing a first stage win in the sprints.

Pinot finished third in the race in 2014 and has had a solid 2015 season with wins in the queen stages at both the Tour de Suisse and the Tour de Romandie. He recently finished fourth in the former race, confirming that he is ready to improve last year's result.

Pinot will be supported by Steve Morabito who was signed from the FDJ team to be the key leutenant. The Swiss finished in the top 10 in his home race and will be an invaluable asset for his leader in the mountains. On the tough days, Pinot can also count on Alexandre Geniez who has recovered after his great Giro d'Italia where he finished in the top 10. However, he will be missing Arnold Jeannesson who hasn't reached top condition in time for the race.

The second half of the team is made up of Demare's sprint train. Surprisingly, there was no room for the usual final lead-out man Mickael Delage and instead it will be left to William Bonnet and Sebastien Chavanel to bring the French champion into position.

Matthieu Ladagnous will be able to provide crucial support for Pinot in the flat stages where he is usually vulnerable. The team is completed by Jeremy Roy and Benoit Vaugrenard who are solid all-rounders that can be of great importance on the hilly days and in the team time trial.

There was no room for former French champion Arthur Vichot who is far from his best condition and recently admitted that it would be hard for him to get selected.

FDJ for the Tour de France

Arnaud Demare, Thibaut Pinot, Williema Bonnet, Sebastien Chavanel, Matthieu Ladagnous, Benoit Vaugrenard, Steve Morabito, Alexandre Geniez and Jeremy Roy
