Thiabut Pinot (FDJ) again proved that he is one of the best climbers in the Tour de France when he finished fourth in stage 19.

"Today, like in the rest of the Tour de France, my feelings followed the temperatures," he said. "As soon as it gets colder which happened on the climb to La Toussuire, I felt better. I finished fourth. I am happy to finish in this group. I am in my place among the favorites, although I have not had the opportunity to play with them in this Tour. 

"I did L'Alpe d'Huez once, in the Dauphiné . I've never done it in the Tour de France. This will be a first. I will not finish this Tour without giving it another try, especially after all these ups and downs. I never really hit it. I'll finish less tired than last year, that's for sure."
