Back from the Giro d’Italia, Stefano Pirazzi celebrated with relatives and close friends the stage victory at Vittorio Veneto, but you are not allowed too much debauchery because after finally won in the Giro, he now has many more gals he wishes to achieve.

"To celebrate I’ve planned a full month at a competitive level with the Tour of Slovenia, the Tour of the Apennines and the National Championships. The victory at the Giro was a great joy that pays five long years of sacrifice and bitter taste in the mouth. I have always been convinced of my ability, winning is never easy but I've always worked hard so I knew that being able to raise my arms to heaven was only a matter of time. I'm glad it happened in such a prestigious competition "

the 27 year old, who will remain with Bardiani in 2015, now wishes to don the colours of the tricolore as winning his national road race.  Pointing in particular to the test against the clock, sacrificing his ambitions in the road race of the previous day.

"I'm training to give the maximum in the time trial on 29 June. Last year I finished second behind Marco Pinotti, the layout has not changed, then the victory is objectively within my reach. Probably I'll skip the road race on 28 June to save energy to point to the tricolor in the time trial that suits me more. The men to beat? Dario Cataldo, Adriano Malori (3rd in 2013 behind him, ed), Manuele Boaro and, should he ride, of course Vincenzo Nibali."
