Wout Poels is not sure whether he will start on Sunday in the Amstel Gold Race. He explained why to nu.nl.

Poels was ill last week when he was at a training camp on the Canary island of Tenerife. He does not know whether he is going to start his home WorldTour race. 

“I’ll decide in the coming days. It depends on when I get back on the bike. Just now I am not riding," said Poels. He consults this week with his team, Team Sky, or he appears on Sunday at the start.
