The Team Sky rider, who helped Chris Froome to win his third Tour de France in July, is currently focusing on the Olympic Games. 45,000 people enjoyed the evening racing. Poels beat Stef Clement (IAM Cycling) and Dutch champion Dylan Groenewegen (LottoNL-Jumbo).
Liege-Bastogne-Liege winner Wout Poels will represent the Netherlands in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will line up alongside Tom Dumoulin (Giant Alpecin), Steven Kruisjwijk (LottoNL Jumbo) and Clasica San Sebastian recent winner Bauke Mollema (Trek Segafredo).
