It is an important week for the future of Southeast . In recent days, Filippo Pozzato and Alessandro Ballan have been linked to the team but none of them have signed a contract yet.

Now Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the decisive meeting regarding Pozzato's future will be held on Wednesday. At the moment, the parties are far from each other since Pozzato's request to 400,000 euro a year is considered out of business by the professional contenental team. As for Ballan, the chances are still alive, also because Southeast does not belong to the Movement for a Credible Cycling (MPCC) which makes it possible to sign a rider who has just returned from suspension.

 
Key team riders like Mauro Finetto , Francesco Gavazzi , Elia Favilli and Luca Wackermann still haven'r signed a new contract. Some of them might renew in the coming weeks although others could join other teams as is the case for Wackermann who seems close to  Skydive Dubai Pro Cycling Team - Al Ahli Club .
