There are rumours that the employees of RadioShack-Leopard have yet to receive their wages for May. Team owner Flavio Becca claims the payments were indeed delayed, but that the money has been transferred now.

“Normally everyone is paid at the end of the month. Now it’s 11 days into June and no one has been paid, no riders or staff,” a source within the team told Cyclingnews. “There’s been no explanation as to why. Maybe he is waiting for payments from sponsors. We don't know.”

This is not the first time that the team has delayed payments to employees – in 2012 the wages for May were only paid six days into June.
