After new landslides had threatened to force Milan-Sanremo organizers RCS Sport to make further modifications to the route for this year's opening classic, it has now been confirmed that the route won't be changed any further. Hence, the riders will follow a sprinter-friendly course that is very similar to the one that was last used in 2007 when Oscar Freire won the race.
