Davide Rebellin ended the 5-day Tour of Norway with 14th place on the last stage and 7th overall.

The stage kicked off the usual way, with numerous attacks. The breakaway of the day was formed after 30 kilometers and consisted of 8 riders – Yaroslav Popovych (Trek), Vegard Breen (Lotto Soudal), Michael Reihs (Cult), Tim Kerkhof (Roompot Oranje Peloton), Arthur Vanoverberghe (Topsport Vlaanderen – Baloise), Alexander Wetterhall (Tre Berg-Bianchi), Amund Grondahl (Joker) and Marius Andre Hafsas (FixIT.no).

Josef Cerny, alongside Nikolay Trusov, was trying to bridge the gap but eventually he came back to the bunch. The leading riders were steadily increasing their advantage until it reached 3 minutes. Caja Rural and Tinkoff-Saxo were setting the pace in the bunch and the closer it was to the finish, the smaller the gap was. With 35 kilometers to go Grondahl, Breen and Hafsas attacked from the escape and they were later joined by Andreas Vangstad (Sparebanken Sør), who pulled away from the peloton on the last lap (out of four). In the very finale Vangstad jumped one more time and soloed to victory.

In a slightly uphill finish, Davide Rebellin took 14th place, arriving in the first group, that came in 14 seconds behind the winner. That helped the Italian claim 7th overall.  Jesper Hansen (Tinkoff-Saxo) won the 5-day event ahead of Edvald Boasson Hagen (MTN-Qhubeka) and David Lopez (Team Sky).
