The orange squad continues the Italian campaign and will take part in the next four events held on the Apennine Peninsula – Giro della Toscana -Memorial Alfredo Martini, Coppa Sabatini – Gran Premio città di Peccioli, Giro dell’Emilia and Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli.

The first two of those races will be carried out in Tuscany. Giro della Toscana -Memorial Alfredo Martini consists of two stages. Stage one will take the riders from Arezzo to Montecatini Terme (174km). The course goes through some demanding hills, but ends on a flat section. Stage 2 (185km) is also undulating and also has a flat finale, which should suit fast riders.

The 196-kilometer route of Coppa Sabatini – Gran Premio città di Peccioli is quite complicated, as the up-and-down route will be conducted on three laps, which overlap in some degree. First there is an opening lap of 56.7km and it will be covered once. Secondly, a 21.7km long circuit will be done three times by the peloton and the race will be wrapped up with a 12.2-kilometer lap, which will be tackled as many as six times.

After one day break, CCC Sprandi Polkowice will return to competition at Giro dell’Emilia. It’s an HC event, which has been won by Davide Rebellin twice (last time in 2014 as a rider ofthe  Polkowice-based team). The riders will face a 213-kilometer course in the Emilia-Romagna region, with a long, and tough climb early in the race (the summit is at 90km mark, 900m above the sea level). In total, 8 hills have been scheduled for this day. 5 of them will be located in the last 40 kilometers, during which the bunch will be crossing the finish line in San Luca 5 times. The final part of the race is uphill and it favors classics riders and climbers.

Another HC race, Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli will kick off in Trasferimento and will end after 196km of racing in Monteveglio. The last 135 kilometers consist of 10 laps, 13.3km each, with one short ascent. This event is a perfect opportunity for sprinters, who are able to survive in moderately hilly terrain.

Two Italians, Davide Rebellin and Simone Ponz,i will participate in all four of those races, alongside Felix Grossschartner and Branislau Samoilau. Nikolay Mihaylov, Leszek Pluciński, Jakub Kaczmarek and Mateusz Taciak will take part in first two and later they will be replaced (for the HC events), by Maciej Paterski, Łukasz Owsian, Victor de la Parte and Jan Hirt.
