Davide Rebellin has good memories from the French Tour Cycliste International du Haut Var where he made the podium four times. This year he will lead the 7-man “orange team” for another top result.
"We are sending a 7-man team to the Tour Cycliste International du Haut Var. Initially Jarosław Marycz was also on the roster but eventually he will not start due to illness. Rebellin, who has won twice and has been third twice, will be the leader of the team. Although when he achieved those results it was a one-day event and now it’s a two-day stage race, the course should still suit his skills," president of CCC Sprandi Polkowice Robert Krajewski said.
The Tour Cycliste International du Haut Var has been a 2-day stage race since 2009. This season the first stage ends with a short hill, and the second is filled with climbs and has a downhill finish.
For the “riders in orange” it will be the third race on the French roads this season after Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise and Etoile de Bessèges.
Lineup of CCC Sprandi Polkowice:
Davide Rebellin, Mateusz Taciak, Adrian Kurek, Christian Delle Stelle, Nikolay Mihaylov, Marek Rutkiewicz, Grzegorz Stępniak.
