As you all know, cycling can be a cruel sport. Our editor who writes our previews and does most of our live coverage has had a bad crash that has left him with a broken collarbone and a broken elbow. He is recovering well but unfortunately it takes some time for the bones heal.
The injuries make it impossible to use a computer properly and this is a setback for our site. As a consequence, we will be forced to scale down our activities for the next few weeks. We will try our utmost to keep our usual influx of news and will also have some exclusive interviews in the next few weeks. Hence, you can still use our site as your primary source for news and race reactions.
Unfortunately, the accident means that we will have no previews for the World Championships races. We are still hopeful to be back for the final classics of the year but it all depends on the recovery. We will also have to scale down on our live coverages but are still hopeful that we will be able to cover all the elite men’s races from the Worlds. Finally, we will have no reporter in Richmond as was originally planned,
We are very sorry not to be able to end the season in the way we wanted but our staff will do its utmost to provide you with the best possible coverage of the next few weeks. We promise you to be back at 100% as soon as possible.
