Astana is likely to remain at the WorldTour level, according to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport. The UCI threatened to revoke the license due to the doping positives of riders from both the WorldTour and continental team.

This prompted the UCI to ask the License Commission to look into the matter but they have decided not to rcovke the license. In the past year, five Astana riders tested positive, including two riders from the professional team.
