Vicente Reynes will not take the start at l’Etoile de Bessèges which is scheduled to run from February 3rd to the 7th. Forced to abandon the third stage of the Mallorca Challenge, Reynes is suffering from the beginning of a urinary tract infection which will prevent him from being at his best physical condition for the race.
The sports management for the IAM Cycling team, as well as the team doctors, will discuss the date when Reynes can return to competition based on an evaluation of his condition and how it evolves.
Larry Warbasse has been chosen by the Swiss team’s managers to replace Reynes at l’Etoile.
