French rider Romain Sicard will be return in the peloton this Friday at the Vuelta a Castilla y Leon. He will work in order to test him and prepar his goal: the Tour of France. He will race in Spain with Pierre Rolland and Cyril Gautier.
Sicard expressed his aim for this race: "I took a small recovery week then I started training this week. The Vuelta a Castilla y Leon is a beautiful event and with Pierre Rolland and Cyril Gautier, we already think of the mountain stage which will be the important appointement of the three days."
The next week, he will ride the Tour de Romandie. "It will also be a good test. Another good test because the stages are hilly and the race is often open. There are way to escape and take the good breakaway."
He is also focusing on three-week races. "My team will ride the Vuelta and the Tour de France, it ensures a well-stocked calendar. I should do one of the two tests and the idea for the moment, is to do the Tour de France.''
