Ten riders from the current roster of Roompot - Orange Peloton will be in action for the team next season too. After Pieter Weening extended his contract a few weeks a go, another nine riders have signed new deals.
Jesper Asselman, Huub Duijn, Etienne van Empel, Sjoerd van Ginneken, Brian Van Goethem, Raymond Kreder, André Looij, Nick van der Lijke and Berden de Vries will remain loyal to the team.
"It is nice that we can help these guys to take the next step in their development in the coming year," commented team manager Michael Zijlaard. "In addition to our nine new extendsions, these are still some who already had an existing contract with Roompot - Orange Peloton. They have experienced significant growth and we are all curious to see how far they can come in their careers."
After the announcement that Maurits Lammertink (Katusha), Antwan Tolhoek (LottoNL-Jumbo) and Wesley Kreder (Wanty-Groupe Gobert) will leave the team,Michel Kreder has also opted for a change. This week he signed this week a contract with a foreign pro-continental team. Kai Reus and Johnny Hoogerland have decided to retire. Marc de Maar continues as a mountain biker.
