The new Team Sky signing Diego Rosa has unveiled a sketch of his calendar for 2017 in an interview with Radiocorsa.

In his first year with the British team, Rosa will focus on the Italian events which will be hi main objectives. First of all he plans to do the Giro d'Italia in support of Mikel Landa and maybe Geraint Thomas. However, Rosa also plans to do the other Italian WorldTour events, Strade Bianche, Tirreno-Adriatico and the Tour of Lombardy where he finished second last October.

Rosa is expected to work for his team in grand tours and take his own chances in hilly classics.
