According to CyclingWeekly, Irishman Ryan Mullen will join Cannondale-Garmin the next year. The 20-year-old cyclist, who finished 2nd at the World Championships individual time trial, is a stagiaire from today and from 1st January 2016, he will become pro rider.
Since 2014, he wore the An Post-Chain Reaction jersey. This year, he won the National Championships title during the individual time trial. He finished also 3rd at An Post Race and 8th during European Games ITT.
Last year, Dave Brailsford said of this rider: “He has a very bright career ahead of him, he’s already a world class time trialist. He’ll go on to a very rosy career at the higher level of sport, I’m sure.”
