The first week of the Flanders classics will end tomorrow with the Gent-Wevelgem. Cannondale Pro Cycling will attend the UCI WorldTour race, which Peter Sagan won last year.
Yesterday he took another classics win as he won the E3 Harelbeke. But Sagan knows Gent-Wevelgem is a different race and that he has to perform just as well as yesterday.
"I have proved myself that the form is good but Gent-Wevelgem is another race and I have to leave aside Herelbeke's result to perform at my best" said Sagan. "Yesterday I did a big effort to win, so my only thought it's to recover. We'll see during the race what will happen. I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of riders interested to win, included the ones who didn't get the results they expected in Harelbeke. I'll be at the start to do my best with the great support of my teammates".
The Cannondale Pro Cyling team roster for the race will consist of the same riders, who did the E3 Harelbeke yesterday: Oscar Gatto, Maciej Bodnar, Ted King, Kristijan Koren, Alan Marangoni, Paolo Longo Borghini, Matthias Krizek and Peter Sagan.
