Peter Sagan will join forces with his manager Giovanni Lombardi to start a new continental team. The Slovakian will provide advice to the Israeli team which aims at bringing Israeli riders to the Tour de France.
In 2015, Peter Sagan will support a new continental team which will be riding with an Israeli license. Ciclismointernactional.com reports that the team will be created on the initiative of Sagan's manager Giovanni Lombardi and former Israeli Saxo Bank rider Ran Margaliot.
Cycling Academy Team p / b Sagan will be officially unveiled today. The line-up consists of twelve riders, five from Israel and seven from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. The long term goal is to bring Israeli riders to the Tour de France.
The team will make its debut in January in Argentina at the Tour de San Luis. Lombardi is one of the organizers of the race in the San Luis province. Sagan is set to advise the riders during the season and evaluate their performance.
