"Aru can still win the Vuelta. We just need good tactics, good legs and some good luck."
Those were the words of Astana's Luis Leon Sanchez after stage nineteen at the Vuelta a España . Sanchez led Aru up to the famous walled city of Ávila for a 1.5k cobblestone climb to the finish of a long day in Spain.
Aru lost 3 seconds to race leader Tom Dumoulin on the cobblestones and now follows the Dutch rider by 6 seconds in General Classification with two stages remaining.
Saturday's final mountain stage features four first category climbs in 175km and a downhill finish to Cercedilla. With time bonus prizes for the first three riders across the line on Saturday, Aru has a good team for tactics, good legs at the end of three weeks and will work to finding good luck in order to take 7 seconds from Dumoulin.
