Luis Leon Sanchez suffered a bit in the tough finale of stage 3 of the Tour Down Under, crossing the lin 11th and losing 15 seconds to Rohan Dennis.

“Today was the first really hot day with nearly 35°," says Sanchez, "and this has affected the performance of many riders”.

Luis Leon Sanchez was once again among the best of Astana Pro Team in the third stage Tour Down Under.

“I made the final climb," says Sanchez," with the best and I arrived a few seconds behind the winner."

At the finish line in Paracombe, after 143 km,  the Australian Rohan Dennis beat a small group of fifteen riders becoming the new leader of the race

In the overall classification, Sanchez has twenty five seconds delay from the first position with three days of racing left.
