Being one of the protagonists in the cobbled races, Trek Factory Racing should switch to an underdog position in the upcoming Ardennes Cl. Andy Schleck and Fränk Schleck will lead the challenge, while several youngsters are ready to impress.

Fränk Schleck should be the most reliable rider to shine for the team. Just coming out of the one-year ban for testing positive, he has put up some good performances in the first months of racing. He grabbed a 6th place in the last stage of Paris-Nice, and climbed up with the best in the queen stage of Critérium International, being 4th and only 3 seconds after the winner of the stage.

Andy Schleck's schedule is nearly identical with Fränk's, but his performance is rather anonymous even with the companion of his brother. His condition remains an enigma before he enters the Ardennes races, which is the first major goal of his season.

Both Schlecks will switch off after the Ardennes week and return to racing at Tour of Luxembourg. They will use Tour de Suisse as the last warm-up before tackling the season highlight, Tour de France.

Alongside the Schlecks, some young hopefuls are eager to animate the race. Fabio Felline has a excellent record in hilly races, and he just came out of Circuit Cycliste Sarthe in good shape. Bob Jungles has been very active in the early season and the wunderkind from Luxembourg is keenly looking forward to his first Ardennes campaign.
