In 2015 Kevin Seeldraeyers will be riding for the Turkish continental team Torku-Sekerspor. The team will be led by Lionel Marie, former sports director at Giant-Shimano, Garmin-Sharp, Orica-GreenEdge and Cofidis.
This year Seeldraeyers was part of the Wanty-Groupe Gobert team but has previously been riding at the WorldTour level with Astana (2012-2013) and Quick Step (2007-2011). His victories include two stage wins in the Tour of Austria last year and he has finished seventh in Paris-Nice (2009), eighth in the Volta a Catalunya (2011) and 14th in the Giro d'Italia (2009) where he was also the best young rider.
According to the official website of the French Cycling Federation, he will be one of the leaders of the Turkish team and his big goal will be the Tour of Turkey.
Recently,Torku-Sekerspor joined the Movement for a Credible Cycling (MPCC) on probation. Ivailo Gabrovskiy and Mustafa Sayar both tested positive after they had won the Tour of Turkey while riding for the team.
In 2014, the Turkish team was led by Juan Jose Cobo and David de la Fuente. The latter has signed a contract with the Portuguese Efapel team for 2015 while nothing has been confirmed about Cobo's future.
