Bretagne-Séché Environnement rider Eduardo Sepulveda has taken the start of the Tour de San Luis after it had emerged thta his participation was uncertain due to license issues. The Argentine clarified the matter in an interview with Ciclismo Internacional.
"I have found a solution for the Tour de San Luis. Next week we will see what happens with the racing in Europe," said the Bretagne leader who finished 6th in the race in 2014.
"My team asked the UCI for a permission and I was only allowed to ride in San Luis, but to race in Europe, I need to talk to the federation in Spain due to matters that are linked to the ADAMS whereabouts system as that is where I live for most of the year. Next week I plan to ride in France (Etoile de Besseges, ed.) but it is very complicated.
"An additional problem is that there has been a robbery at the federation's buildings in Mar del Plata where computers and printers have been stolen," he added.
