Eduardo Sepulveda put a dispoointing Tour de France behind him when he won the Tour du Doubs.

"Once in the break, I focused on the finale,"he told Directvelo. "I waited for the last GPM to try my luck. I did not know anything about the final. I had already done this race once but I had given up along the way. On the Larmont climb  when I felt that all the others were tired, I attacked. There were two or three riders who managed to take my wheel. I made another attack. It was necessary at all costs to get clear alone if I wanted to win.

"It's good for the morale to win this Tour du Doubs. I have not been great in August, I did not have very good feelings. It was better in traininf during the last few days. It feels good that the legs are coming bak. It's important to win at this time of the year because it allows you to have a good winter. 

"I will do the time trial and road race at the World Championships. I will not have a fcous on the TT ad I am totally unprepared. It will allow me to get ready for the race on Sunday."

"Bretagne-Séché Environnement is in good shape. It was evident last week in Fourmies and in recent weeks in Plouay or the Tour of Poitou-Charentes," manager Emanuel Hubert told Directvelo. "This is a good sign for the end of season when we have the opportunity to do a few races. The team is divided into three next week, with a part that goes to Italy for three days of racing, one that will ride in Belgium and France and finally some other riders who are going to the USA for the Worlds. 

"The Coupe de France teams classification is certainly won with this result, even if the instructions were clear this morning. The objective was to get the win for one of our riders. We knew we would have Cofidis monitoring us so the goal was really to win the race. We will see what will happen in Isbergues, but it will also be nice to win individually. Pierrick (Fedrigo) will do his best in the last two races (Grand Prix d'Isbergues and Tour de Vendée). Isbergues is a race that can suit Yauheni (Hutarovitch) or Dan (McLay) if it arrives in a sprint. But ther is always the risk of echelons. And if Nacer Bouhanni is there, I know Pierrick will be very determined. Everything is possible.

"Regarding Eduardo, the World Championships are not hard enough for him. Given the profile of the circuit, it is better for a rider for Flemish races."
