The Romanian Serghei Tvetcov, the Jelly Belly-Maxxis rider, is the revelation of the Tour of Colorado. He finished third at this last american race, before the Polish Rafal Majka (Team Tinkoff Saxo). And according to Cyclingnews, he signed with Androni Giocattoli Venezuela.

"After the USA Pro Challenge I had a couple of offers. In the end, me and my agent Baden Cooke decided Androni is going to be the best team for developing in Europe. This team has a great race program and organization", he explained. He told too that he know the Androni’s staff : "I met already director sportif Giovanni Elenna and president Gianni Savio during the UCI World Championships in Ponferrada."

This summer, Tvetcov finished in the top 10 at the Tour of Utah, for the three times. "At the Tour of Utah I just tried to stay with the big guys. I was in the main group, but the mountains there were too steep for me. I just was dropped, but I was dropped from a select group of 15. So I thought, 'Alright, Colorado will be better for me."
