The organizers of the Settimana Coppi e Bartali would move their event to another date. Currently, the Italian race takes place the last week of March, after Milan-San Remo, and ends on the same weekend as the Criterium International. It also fight along with the classic World Tour E3 Harelbeke and Gent-Wevelgem. Although the UCI have already confirmed the schedule for the Europe Tour 2015.
GS Emilia, the organizer of the race, would like to see their event to take place a week later than expected, it would then compete with the Three Days of De Panne. That's what they say to Tuttobici: "Three years ago, we ask the UCI to shift the Settimana Coppi e Bartali a week later so that it becomes a test of preparation for the Tour of Flanders rather than be a post-San Remo race. If we get what we want, our race no longer coincide with the Three Days of De Panne, and then serve as preparation for the Italian riders, among others, in order of Flanders."
