British rider Simon Yates tested positive for Terbutaline at Paris-Nice after stage 6 on March 12. Orica GreenEDGE Cycling team have said that they gave the 23-year-old the substance to treat his "documented asthma problems", but forgot to apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).
THW British rider has not been suspended due to the nature of THE substance involved.
According to Cyclingnews, the Australian rider will be present at the start of Critérium du Dauphiné. His team has submitted their case to the UCI and is awaiting a ruling on whether the rider will be able to return to racing or will face a sanction.
