Kanstantsin Siutsou (Sky) lived up to expectations when he won yesterday's Belarusian time trial championships. The Sky rider beat Siarhei Papok and Branislau Samoilau (CCC) to conquer his second consecutive title.
Yesterday Kanstantsin Siutsou learnt that he was not selected for the Sky roster for the Tour de France but after his solid showing in the Route dus Sud where he finished fourth overall, he continues to show that he has the condition to be there. Yesterday he defended his title in the Belarusian TT championships.
Siutsou beat Siarhei Papok and three-time champion Branislau Samoilau into the minor spots on the podium and conquered his third victory in the event. His teammate Vasil Kiriyenka who could potentially have challenged him, didn't take the start.
Siutsou will be back in action in Sunday's road race where he is likely to face the Belarusian professionals Yauheni Hutarovich and Aliaksandr Kuchynski.
