The UCI has added Romain Le Roux to the "black list" of riders that are suspended for doping. The 24-year-old Armée de Terre riders tested positive in a doping control on June 19, 2016, during the Route du Sud.

The substance found in his body was a pseudoephedrine which is used in medicines for treatment of rhinitis and cold and can also have a stimulating effect and promote wakefulness.

All results achieved after the date of the check were automatically canceled and the rider can return to racing from December 19.
