Gianni Moscon was the brightest star on the Italian U23 scene in 2015. The talent won nine races, including the Italian championships,won with detachment ranking Oscar TUTTOBICI Gran Premio Euromobil. The most dangerous rivals of the 21 year-old Trent next to step between professionals with Team Sky for the ultimate success proved his teammate Simone Consonni and the companion to the Zalf Euromobil Fior Simone Velasco, second and third respectively. I am always travelling and time flies. The days are full of commitments so I took advantage of a calmer period of the year to take it easy, at least as much as possible since I am studying Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Vicenza . It is very difficult to both study and ride my bike but I am trying. On December 6 I will go to the first real training camp with the team. I want to do things well to be ready for the first races. "

Moscon is now ready to join one of the biggest teams in the world.

"In January a year ago I spent 5 days in Mallorca with my future teammates and technicians,” he said. “In July I participated in a training camp in Sestriere. We were ten: Viviani, Puccio, Kiryienka ... and there was a great atmosphere. They welcomed me right away like I was already one of them and I immediately understood that the organization was flawless. Last month we gathered in London to carry out medical examinations, the first tests, to draw up programs and visit the main sponsor. I had a good impression of the team. The environment is not rigid and schematic as it seems from the outside. It is much friendlier. Both teammates and staff tried to involve me and I felt at ease. We were chatting and I was asked about ‘the most important person you've met in your life?’ I replied ‘Froome whom I met yesterday.’ They all laughed, but the reality is that they are a team of 30 riders of whom more than half are champions with a capital C. At the same time, people are nice and approachable. I'm glad I joined this group and proud of the beautiful words Dave Brailsford has said about me. I trust his judgment.

"I will start my season in January in Mallorca and then I will go to the Dubai Tour and the North to do the classics. On paper I will not do Flanders and Roubaix, but the smaller ones. Later I will do the Coppi & Bartali, the Giro del Trentino and the Tour of California and then take a break and take stock of the first half of the season. I will not be at the start of any Grand Tour. That’s what I expected and I think it's the best choice. They are a big WorldTour team that must present a high level with captains who can win and deserve to have a team around them to support them one hundred percent. In my first experience I would not be helpful to the designated leader because I'm not ready physically, and it would nnot be a great move for me as the effort would be too much compared to what my body is used  to.I'd like to prove myself in some monuments. I am a reserve for the most prestigious one so who knows. Regardless of the calendar I want to start strongly and show that I am here.”
