Alberto Contador Foundation continues its development of young riders and after their third season in the peloton they can now add a new name to the list of riders who have made the step to a bigger team. Spaniard Enric Mas will join the ranks of AWT Greenway.
Mas has spent three seasons in the ranks of the Alberto Contador Foundation, one in the Flex-Junior team and two in the Specialized-U23 team, and will now continue his career in the team led by former professional René Andrle. The team will have another product of the Contador Foundation, Belgian Kenny Molly who has also been signed this year. The first rider to join the professional ranks from the Contador school was Alvaro Cuadros which moved up directly from the junior category two seasons ago.
Next season will be the fourth of the Alberto Contador Foundation, which will again have both a junior and U23 team,3, this time with the HR + / Polartec logos on the jersey.The Foundation also has an increasingly busy cycling school in Pinto, sponsored by the Plaza de Eboli Shopping Centre, which already has more than 40 boys and girls who have started their journey in the sport here.
