One is now a reality, the Murias Taldea team, but the Spanish Federation (RFEC) says that in total, five teams have shown interest in being UCI Continental next season 2015. 

The RFEC has informed the UCI that these teams have expressed interest in enrolling in that category. There are six teams in total: Burgos BH, the only Spanish Continental team in 2014, Union Cycliste Trueba, Grupo Ciclista Gallego, Arratiako Ziklista Elkartea (Murias Taldea sports society), Club Deportivo EK (Elkar Kirolak, Canned Coffee Baqué-Campos) and Extremadura Sports Group Deportivo. 

Now they must translate that interest into action and must submit all required documentation prior to December 10 for approval and subsequent final registration. 

Also, three female teams have requested UCI category 201: Lointek, Bizkaia-Durango and the new project BZK ProBasic.
