It's spring time and this signals the start of the important classics period. The first of the most important one-day races in traditionally Milan-Sanremo, one of only five monuments in the world of cycling.
After the heavy debate about the possible inclusion of the Pompeiana climb, the course is now to back to being the easiest since 2007 and it gives the sprinters what could be one final shot at glory on the Italo Calvino in Sanremo. The teams have completed their selections and below you can take a look at the riders that will be at the start line on Sunday in Milan.
