Team NetApp-Endura continue to prepare themselves for the 2015 season when they will be riding under the Bora name. Today the team has confirmed that Steffen Radochla will join them as sports director.
Germany’s only professional cycling team, which is built around its new German name sponsor BORA, has signed Steffen Radochla as its Sport Director. During his thirteen-year career in professional cycling Radochla competed in all race classes, most recently with Team Euskatel – Euskadi on the WorldTour. The 36-year-old's greatest achievements include a win at the German Neuseen Classics and third place in the Scheldeprijs. The sprint and classics specialist will take up the role of a Sport Director for the first time from the 2015 season.
“We were looking for a young, German-speaking ex-professional, who already has a little distance from his time on the bike. In the best-case scenario, he would have experience of precisely the races that are on our schedule. Steffen fits this profile perfectly. He has known Enrico Poitschke and André Schulze well for years, so he will find it easy to slot into his new role as Sport Director. I am convinced that our riders will benefit from his many years of racing experience and look forward to the collaboration”, said Ralph Denk, commenting on the signing.
