Stölting have announced their line-up for Circuit Cycliste Sarthe.

The Circuit Cycliste Sarthe - Pays de la Loire (2.1) in Western France is a four-day, five-stage race; two half-stages are raced on the second day of the race. The 6.8 km time trial through Angers Wednesday afternoon will play an important role for the general classification since the remaining stages are relatively flat. Stage 4, 190.3 km from Angers to Pré-en-Pail, could also lead to time gaps as the final circuit (to be raced five times) includes a hill with 3 km to go.

Romain Lemarchand (FRA) will line up in his home country and is joined by Lasse Norman Hansen (DEN) who hopes to perform well in the time trial. The team is completed by the German quartet of Gerald  Ciolek, Linus Gerdemann, Christian Mager, and Fabian Wegmann. Mager and Norman Hansen in particular will have the opportunity to draw on the experience of the more routined riders.

“The last years have shown that the road stages aren't very selective,” said Sports Director Gregor Willwohl (GER). “I mostly expect sprint finishes. The short time trial will be key for an overall result, Lasse could be our man for that. I hope that Gerald has recovered from his cold, then he could be an option for the GC as well. For stage results I count on Lasse, Gerald and Fabian.”
