Dave Brailsford wants to have the best team in the world and never rests. Chris Froome has an outstanding team around him, as they have shown in the Critérium Dauphiné, but manager of Sky does not want to leave anything to chance and thinks about the future. Andrew Talansky and brothers Adam and Simon Yates are the men he wants. 

The triumph of Talansky (25) in the Dauphiné has fired his price right up. His current team Garmin-Sharp is an option- he has ridden with Jonathan Vaughters since 2011- also Lampre and Cannondale have shown interest though it is Sky who has the edge right now, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. 

With the presumed departure of Wiggins, Froome is the undisputed leader, but with Porte, Thomas, Kennaugh Henao on the team, where Talansky fits in is unknown. 

Brailsford himself openly acknowledges his interest in signing the Yates’ (21) in 2016 after failing to get them this year as they went to the Australian team Orica-GreenEdge. 

The signing by Orica and not Sky in 2014 drew attention because of two British talents with a great future. "They are on the right team, they made the right decision," said Brailsford. "They are getting their opportunities. Such opportunities are hard to get in our team. If they were on our team, they would be working, "he explains. "We are competing in every race at the highest level and trying to win. If you have too many young guys, you can not do that, "he says. 

Adam Yates had an exceptional campaign in his first year in the elites, winning the Tour of Turkey, fifth in the Tour of California and sixth in the Dauphiné. Simon, on the other hand, broke his collarbone in Turkey and returned to racing in GP Kanton Aargau - Gippingen, and this week rides the Tour of Slovenia.
