Team Colombia is warming up for an intense week, featuring two stage races that will test Claudio Corti’s team ambitions, after a stretch run of solid performances over the last few weeks.

 

Things will get started in Italy, at Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali (March 27-30): Sports DirectorsOscar Pellicioli and Oliverio Rincon will have pistards Edwin Avila and Juan Esteban Arango rejoining the team after the Track World Championships in Calì, where El Kalimeno earned his second Point Race World title in his career, and making their first appearance in a road race since the Tour de San Luis. Also in the line-up will be five riders who showed their very good condition recently, and will be looking to give their very best in the Italian stage race: Miguel Angel Rubiano, Jarlinson Pantano, Juan Pablo Valencia, Carlos Julian Quintero and Duber Quintero.

 

In the weekend (March 29-30) the Escarabajos will sail to Corsica for Criterium International, the short stage race by ASO, Tour de France organizers, for their third participation to the event.

On the occasion, Sports Director Valerio Tebaldi will count on two experienced riders like Fabio Duarte and Leonardo Duque, along with Jeffry Romero, Rodolfo Torres and youngsters Edward Diaz, Jonathan Paredes and Darwin Pantoja.
