The teams set to participate at the 2014 edition of the Challenge de Mallorca, an UCI 1.1 category spectacle consisting of four separate races to be held from 9 to 12 February, were announced today by Spanish media.
Twenty teams have confirmed their participation at this year’s Challenge de Mallorca, with 10 World Tour squads aiming to take part in the event, particularly:
Lotto- Belisol , Omega Pharma- Quick Step, Garmin -Sharp, Pro Team Astana, Team Katusha, Team Sky, Orica - GreenEdge, Lampre -Merida, Team Europcar, Movistar Team.
Apart from the World Tour strongest squads, six Pro Continental and four continental level teams are expected to take part in the event, in the likes of:
Caja Rural-RGA, Cofidis Credit Solutions, Team Novo Nordisk, MTN- Qhubeka, Team Netapp - Endura, IAM Cycling,
Euskadi y Burgos BH, Activejet Team, Team Ecuador and Cyclinteam de Rijke.
