The organizes of the Six-Days of Rotterdam have announced the first riders. Three-rime winner Niki Terpstra headlines the field while three-time European champion Jeffrey Hoogland will join Hugo Haak and Nils van Hoenderdaal will be at the start of the sprint event.
Terpstra will not ride with his Etixx-Quick Step teammate Iljo Keisse. The Dutch road champion will have Yoeri Havik as his partner.
"We want a broader top field which will make it more exciting for the spectators. Therefore we have decided to put Terpstra and Havik together. They are two compatriots who suit each other well and it is a great chance for Yoeri to go for the victory," said organizer Michael Zijlaard.
Moreno De Pauw and Kenny De Ketele have also been confirmed. They won the Six-Days of London.
