While the already infamous Omloop Het Nieuwsblad finale has ignited a discussion about the internal rivalry between Etixx-Quick Step leaders, Niki Terpstra added some fuel to such rumours. In the interview for Cycling.be, the Paris-Roubaix winner left no doubts about his own ambitions to excell in the Flemish classics again.

„It is my intention to be there again and play sufficient role in the finale. If my form doesn't improve, Zdenek Stybar, Tom Boonen and many other riders from out squad will be ready to take their chances.”

„You have to wait and see how things will develop. You never meet your opponents in exactly the same form on exactly the same routes, so you cannot automatically make predictions about the final outcome. I always say: ride the same race tomorrow and you'll get a different result. In any case, I hope to put some good results on a table!”
