Thomas Damuseau, no retain by Giant-Shimano, signed for next season with the Roubaix-Lille Métropole training according to the press release of the French team. Aged 25, the native of Roanne turned professional in 2011 with the Dutch team.
He made his best results in 2013 by winning the mountains classification in the Criterium du Dauphiné and finishing 3rd in the Grand Prix La Marseillaise. The same year, he finished the Tour of Italy at the 53rd place. This year, he took various places of honor during the Tour of California (7th of the 5th stage) and the Tour of Burgos (3rd at the first two stages of the 4th 6th).
Thomas Damuseau is the third recruit after the signing of the U23 champion of France, Jeremy Leveau (VC Rouen) and the Belgian Dieter Bouvry (SCF-Quick Step). They will evolve alongside Rudy Barber, Romain Pillon, Jimmy Turgis and Belgians Timothy Dupont, Baptiste Planckaert and Maxime Vantomme which have re-enlisted for one year. One or two other riders should still join. Roubaix-Lille Métropole will begin his ninth season at the Continental level.
