With less than a month to go until the Tour de France, the Tour de Suisse (June 11-19) should see a fiercely contested general classification battle.
Geraint Thomas will lead the Team Sky charge and is joined by the fit-again Leopold Konig, who is making his first appearance since February. Giro d'Italia finishers Ian Boswell, David Lopez and Christian Knees will perform domestique duties once again and are joined by Michal Golas and Vasil Kiryienka. Danny van Poppel rounds out the squad and will be aiming to impress in the more sprint-friendly stages on the back of a strong Tour of California.
Thomas finished second in last year's race.
