Due to the extreme weather conditions that have affected Tuscany and in particular the area around Versilia, in recent days, RCS Sport has found it necessary to modify the first stage of Tirreno Adriatico, scheduled for Wednesday 11 March. 

The changes affect both the route and the type of stage. The announced Team Time Trial will be replaced by a 5.7km Individual Time Trial. The positions of the start ramp and the finish line will be as published for the Team Time Trial.
