The 4 Jours de Dunkerque has just finished, but there’s no time to rest for the Escarabajos, who will be on the road again this week, ready to line-up for the Bayern Rundfahrt, where they hope to make themselves noticed, just as they did in France, where Brayan Ramirez was very close of getting a stage win. The 22-year-old neo-pro – second in the mountains classification in Dunkerque – will once again be part of the team, which also includes Rodolfo Torres, Leonardo Duque, Juan Pablo Valencia, Carlos Mario Ramirez, Edward Diaz and Carlos Quintero.
The race – which celebrates its 36th edition this year – begins in Regensburg (south-east Germany) and ends i nNürnberg, five days and 830 kilometers later. Between them, the sprinters, the puncheurs and the attackers will get their chances, but most likely, the race will be decided on the penultimate day, when a 26,1 km-long individual time trial will take place on a lumpy course starting and finishing in Haßfurt.
Line-up:
Edward Diaz, Leonardo Duque, Carlos Quintero, Brayan Ramirez, Carlos Mario Ramirez, Rodolfo Torres, Juan Pablo Valencia.
