One day after their leader Eduardo Sepulveda had been disqualified, Bretagne had another tough day in the Tour de France.
Anthony Delaplace, Armindo Fonseca and Frédéric Brun suffered a lot and were dropped early in the stage, reaching the finish in a 23-rider group with the likes of Péraud and Cavendish. The team feared that they would missed the time cut but they made it to the finish 15 minutes behind winner Andre Greipel.
Following his fourth break in the Tour, Pierre-Luc Périchon dug deep to stay with the best, just like Pierrick Fedrigo and Arnaud Gerard. Florian Vachon and Brice Feillu found the resources to test themselves in the bunch sprint where they finished 10th and 17th respectively.
