The first participation of LAMPRE-MERIDA in the Arctic Race of Norway ended with a 15th place obtained by Ilya Koshevoy in the last stage.

The course had a nervouse final part, with 4 passages on a hill (2,3 km at 6,6%) in the last 40 km which gave to the fans great excitement especially for what concerns the overall classification, with the attack from Taaramae, Dillier and Zakarin and the chase of leader Hermans who was in the same group as Jose Serpa and Koshevoy.

The attacking riders were never caught and so Dillier took the stage victory, while Taaramae won the overall classification.

Koshevoy, the first rider from Team LAMPRE-MERIDA at the finish, is also the best placed rider for the blue-fuchsia-green team in the overall classification in 16th.
