The Tour de l'Eurométropole Tour will only be a one-day race in 2016. The organizers made the announcement today.
The former Franco-Belge will be held on October 2 on the usual circuit in Tournai that has been used for the final stage in the last few years.
The stage race is reduced to one day for economic reasons and due to a scheduling conflict with the Worlds in Qatar.
Last year was the victory in the 75th edition was taken by Frenchman Alexis Gougeard (AG2R La Mondiale).
