Luca Guercilena, Trek General Manager, says there is just a 35% chance his team signs Mark Cavendish for 2016. BMC and MTN-Qhubeka are also interested, and a new deal with Etixx-QuickStep isn’t off the table yet either.
“It’s difficult to say right now. The situation is that his manager proposed him to us with a series of conditions but it’s around a 35 per cent chance of him coming to us for next season,” Guercilena told Cyclingnews.
“We have many young guys that we want to renew and keep on the team. We’re still working on things but we’ll be concentrating on the leaders that we have and then developing the young talents that we have on the team.”
